Prices are changing
* English version at bottom of this page
Most people are struggling financially at the moment, so much has changed in recent history and budgets are tight for many. As a creator, what I do is my only income. Everything has gone up in the last 2 years; as far as I'm concerned, that includes precious and non-precious metals, tools, primers, fixed and ancillary costs – in short, absolutely everything.
This general increase in the cost of the raw materials, tools, etc., that I use means that my profit margin has fallen. I've realized that most of the prices I offer are not fair. I want to remain transparent about my business, and as craftspeople, artists, and creators, we're often caught between the need to feed our creative urge and the need to earn money. Therefore, because I want to continue this profession with all my heart and still dream of being able to make a living from it, I have to raise my prices.
Beyond the skills and creative spirit, it takes countless hours of testing, thinking, and conjuring up ideas. Handcrafted pieces are generally objects that last a lifetime and are passed down through time. I know it's not always financially feasible to buy a handmade piece, so I'll soon be offering 4x payment at no charge on the site!
It takes a lot of time, energy, money, and heart to create something beautiful. Something that speaks to people. It's imperative for humanity to support creators, and I thank every person who has bought something, shared my work, or written words of encouragement. It means a lot more than you think.
