The Wolf & The Tenderness
When one thinks of my work, one might imagine metalworking as a raw, rough task. Yet the resulting jewellery reflects rich inspirations, a certain meticulousness where the metal is revealed with love.
The name La Tendresse Des Loups goes against the negative myths long ingrained in people's minds. This legacy of old folklore depicts the wolf as a sinister, brutal creature, obscuring the beauty, wisdom, and richness of its world.
I imagined the name La Tendresse Des Loups for my creations with the idea of highlighting all their contrasts, from manufacturing to the finished jewel.
The wolf inhabits the mountains and forests where I wander. Invisible but very present, it is for me an animal around which history and magic revolve. La Tendresse Des Loups was born, inspired by this mysterious part of nature that we rarely see but which is most beautiful when left in peace.
The Path & The Inspiration
I was first introduced to the art of stained glass by my mother, a master glassmaker, then I trained in jewellery and goldsmithing techniques. I design and make each piece of jewellery; they are entirely handcrafted from silver, brass or bronze, honouring the natural textures and tones of the metal.
My interest in primitive arts and mythology is aesthetically revealed in my creations through symbolic, totemic inspirations and a raw design.
Nature is an environment that makes me dream every day. I like to think that the wild world is an inspiration that infuses the jewellery I create.
Beauty & Protection
I believe that jewellery transcends all forms of beauty and imparts intentions and vibrations to the person who wears it. Also, I have always been drawn to objects that are credited with protective virtues, which derive their values and "powers" from the symbols and materials that compose them.
Jewellery fascinates me; it allows humans to wear the signs of a magical and sometimes secret language. I cherish the idea that jewellery, whether adornment or talisman, can be so revealing of the history of a people and the subtleties of a society.
Finally, I like to think that a piece of jewellery can be an object worn, cherished, repaired, lost then found, protected, kept safe, bequeathed, displayed. Traversing time, endlessly...
I do my best to ensure that the jewellery created by my hands is deliberately raw, durable, and filled with heart and soul…

The Way & The Inspiration
I started my artistic journey working with stained glass before I decided to train in jewellery making. I design each piece of jewellery before carefully working the silver, brass spirationor bronze by hand to create the finished piece.
I express my interest in primitive arts and mythology aesthetically through my creations. I use raw designs and refer to a wide variety of totemic and symbolic ideas.

I have always been intrigued by objects that have protective connotations, which derive their values and “powers” from the symbols and materials that they are made up of.

I like to think that a piece of jewellery is an object that can be worn, cherished, repaired, lost and then found again, protected, kept safe, passed through generations, shown off. A perennial object that goes through time endlessly...
